Description
Two parts - A: is a loosely woven steel basket that comes to a rounded point at one end. B: is a steel ring that mimicks the shape of the basket and fits over the steel basket. A piece of linen would have been placed in between the wire basket and the ring. The inhaler would have been placed over the patients mouth and the chloroform held up to the mask by the doctor and inhaled by the patient.
