Description
Three white cotton muslin or mull embroidered textile fragments. Embroidery features small berries and leaves, formed by single sequins with silver metallic thread stems and leaves. Two pieces have hemmed selvages, the other is an irregular fragment. C is sewn into a sleeve.
Provenance
Accession record indicates the pieces may be Indian in origin, from the early 19th century. Likely purchased by donor while traveling.
