Description
Linoleum block used for printing by the greeting card company Lilac Hedges of Litchfield, CT. The block contains the design of a bird, with wings spread, surrounded by a decorative wreath. To the right of the main bird design is a secondary design of a woven basket containing flowers of various heights. Also incorporated into the overall design of the block are "V" shaped birds flying above. The block is carved in a relief style where the printable design is raised. The linoleum used is a dark green with a typical burlap backing.
