Description
Navy blue swallow tail coat (short front and long in back); double breasted with brass buttons; buttons have naval eagle insignia; short stand up collar edged with gold braid; arms have double gold braid around bottom of sleeves with star above; no external pockets; interior breast pocket - vertical orientation; two pockets hidden inside tails; two brass buttons at back of waist and at base of tails

This jacket was worn by Rear Admiral George P. Colvocoresses, after leaving U.S. Naval Academy as Lt. in Navy.
Comment
The two bands of gold braid and star on the sleeves denote rank of Lieutenant in the Navy.
