Description
Octagonal watch case of painted wood with carved tortoise shell exterior. Hinged top with two brass hook fasteners at the front. Lid interior lined with white silk, remainder of case lined with grey velvet; gilt paper lining on interior wood. Two circular watch receptacles rimmed in blue velvet, with red pasteboard border around bottom. Bottom of case is covered in embossed blue paper.
