Description
Oil on canvas painting of a meadow. Foreground of dark green, light green, and brown clusters of white and yellow flowers. Flowers in larger clumps at middle ground. Grassy meadow beyond done in blue, grey, white, and green with a row of dark trees in far background, meeting a sky of blue and grey. Painting completed in impressionistic style with loose brush strokes and thick paint application. Signed at lower-left, "S. Mortimer." Framed in decorative wood frame with gesso floral and geometric designs. Frame painted in gilt finish with red and bronze tones.
