Description
Carved ivory measuring tape and pin cushion stand, in three sections. Bottom section forms base; middle section is shaped like a basket of pierced ivory and contains a red fabric measuring tape; top section begins with a narrow ivory stem and terminates in a red fabric pin cushion. Overall shape resembles a chess piece. Turning the top section withdraws the measuring tape.
