Description
A: Flat, oval shaped brass plate with steel needles passed through; copper rivet fastening it to lump of lead; iron nail embedded in lead head down B: flat brass plate with needles passed through it; surrounding lead spike and fastened to it with a second flat brass plate; eye ends of needles are exposed and needles keep slipping out of positions C: Steel blade with four prongs and knife like edge attached to round maple handle; rounded side to blade which overlangs wooden handle
