Description
Off-white linen pillowcase. Hand-stitched hem. Initials "LE" in tan thread with a heart under the initials. Seamed on three sides, hand-stitched hem on fourth side. Embroidered initials "LE" with a heart under them in tan thread.

Hand-written note: "This towel is for Carrie Abbott Meyers. It was made by her Great Grandmother who was Lavina Ensign probably about the year 1809"

Although the hand-written note states the object is a towel, it is a pillowcase.
