Description
Brown leather tri-fold wallet. Two interior pockets. Pair of leather flaps over upper pocket. Book of blank paper with leather cover which has now become detatched from wallet. Maker's stamp on cover of paper - design of phoenix and clouds around words "S. Church/Maker/Bethlehem, Conn." Beneath upper flap of wallet written in ink "Dr. A.S. Lewis/Bethlehem, CT 1832/Litchfield" with "Bethlehem" crossed out several times. Leather ties to fasten wallet.
