Description
Glass milk bottle with round lip top, circular bottom, and tapered sides. Half pint, slightly tinted glass. Embossed lettering on front, "MILO D. BEACH/LITCHFIELD, CT./HF/PT." Embossed on back, "WASH AND RETURN." Illegible marks embossed on bottom.

Milo Beach had a creamery on Woodruff street, established around 1900. He also sold butter, cheese, eggs, and buttermilk in Waterbury. One of the last local wholesalers in Connecticut, Beach's creamery closed in 1940.
