Comment
Mabel Clark McNeill (1791-1864) was the daughter of Ebenezer Clark and Mary Tompkins Clark. She was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on September 27, 1791. In December 1810 she married Isaac McNeill. A gardener of ability, she designed East Cemetery in Litchfield, Connecticut. Of her four children the best known was Edwin McNeill, Professor of Engineering at Norwich University, Norwich, Vermont. He also developed the Litchfield to Danbury and Baltimore to New York railways.
