Description
Decorative ceramic plate with transfer print image commemorating a scene from Uncle Tom's Cabin. The ink is black. The scene is in the center of the plate with a decorative border consisting of three rows of raised flowers. The plate reads "Uncle Tom's Cabin/The Escape of Eliza and her child". Interesting to note that Eliza and her child are not colored the way the two slaves standing on the bank are.
