Description
Split cane seat. Front legs ring and ball turnings. Two stretchers each on front and sides. Turned back and upright with vase and cap finial. Half-turned upright braces, scalloped crest and grooved back brace. Arm brace turned like stretchers. Single back stretcher, plain. Bannisters, flat in front, turned in back.

From Deacon Coe's house on Beach Street. Always in Coe family until purchased by Wm. Mitchell Van Winkle. Museum purchased chair at 1939 Van Winkle auction.
