Pin bar across top of both, bronze with oak leaf background and "PRO PATRIA GLORIA" on it. Red ribbon with cross shaped medal attached at bottom. Medal has crossed cannons at 90 degree angle, oak and laurel cluster with large "7" in the middle and "LONG AND FAITHFUL SERVIDE" around center. H: Inscribed on back "960/Private/Augustus Holly Bissell/Co. F" I: Inscribed on back "1019/Second Lieut./John Bissell/Co. D"
