Description
G.A.R. Camp Dutton medal. Red, white and blue silk grosgrain ribbon. Folded over at top with a bronze-colored safety pin. Ribbon is gathered into a bronze rind. From a second bronze ring is suspended a round bronze medal. In relief: "WELCOME VETERANS / (image of Camp Dutton monument and the wording) / SEPT. 11, 1912."
Comment
This object was one of two objects with the same accession number, 1965-14-1, but all paperwork indicates only one object came in and it was a medal without a ribbon.
