Man's black wool bowler hat; body of hat is round; brim extends around full diameter of hat; brim slightly turned up at sides and edged with a black grosgrain ribbon; black grosgrain ribbon also encircles the base of the hat; tied in a box on oen side of hat; small cluster of holes located at top of hat (air or venilation holes); interior of hat wool with leather band located inside of at near brim; label "John B. Stetson Co." with seal of company stamped in gold
