Watercolor with gouache on paper painting of a landscape scene with house. Foreground of darker greens leading to a path the extends up and to the left, through lighter green grass. Path ends before a two-story house with gabled dormer roof, front porch, and single chimney visible to the right-right of the roof. Trees and shrubs fill the right side of the composition, in multiple shades of green. Light blue sky with white clouds at top. Signed in lower-right, "Vanderpoel/1907." Framed under glass in burl wood or wood effect frame. Gilt and green painted liner. Paper backing on reverse.
