Description
Tilt top chess table; mahogany with inlay. Base is tapered 16 panel drum with moulding at bottom, carved appliqued decoration about legs and diamond inlays on sides. Square top 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" with four pegs, two layers and one side hinged for top and slot for holder of top. Top is 5 1/2" deep with drop pendants at each intersection of 16 panelled side. Each panel inlayed with opposed diamond shapes. Shaped top with inlayed chess board in lighter wood
