Parasol; violet lining with silk cover, both with pinked scalloped edges; black lace overlay; ivory ferrule with piece of coral above carved ivory base with a grape vine; handle and tube of ivory; bottom half of tube unscrews from below a metal collar below slide; ivory handle has repetitive pattern of red coral-colored buds; at base of handle is a brass collar with sculpture of a satyr holding grapes and grape vines
