Description
Fitted hood over eyes and nose with red velvet liner. Made of curly maple with six brass dome headed nails. Thick maple front with two square glass lenses. Perpendicular divider standing up right from runner with sliding cross piece having two brass wire card holders at ends bent outward. On base of runner is brass plated swivel attachment with turned pointed hand holder. Two screws hold the shaped runner plate to face unit. Stamped on handle "Patented/July 24/1889"
