Description
Transom window from the front entry of the second Congregational Meeting House, 1762-1825, of Litchfield. The rectangular shaped transom is divided into segments, around a central oval pane which is painted in gilt, red and black, with a eye with rays. Each pane of glass was also decorated with gilt in floral vine pattern. Micheal Dickinson and Moses Eaton were the joiners who built the church.
