Description
3 piece wedding dress - bodice, skirt and petticoat Bodice - ornate layers of silk, satin and lace. High neck with boning. Top is loosely woven lace. Front of bodice poofs out (Gibson girl style) Bodice hooks in front with three layers of closures. Sleeves cinch at elbows and flare out with layers of lace and silk covering forearm. Skirt - two layers. Satin under layer with two layers of ruffles at bottom Top layer thin cream colored silk. Gathered at knees and ruffled. Front of top layer has verticle rushing. Skirt longer in back than front with train. Two U shaped pads on inside of back of skirt filled with horsehair. Petticoat - two layers. Underside heavy linen with thin layer of linen over top. Over layer trimmed with satin ribbon in bow shaped design about 4 inches above hem line
