Description
Cream pitcher has a gilt vine motif around the spout and is decorated with gold bands, gold lines on handle, a band with a gold border and red leaf and scroll. Asian inspired design. This is the wedding tea set of Anna Pierce Brace, (Mrs. Charles Loring, married May 6, 1818). Wedgwood #714, "Bittersweet." It was inherited from Mrs. Pennypacher's mother, Mrs. Ruth Loring Whitman; and by her from Mary Hopkins Loring; and by her from Anna Pierce Brace Loring.
